Charles Wu is the President of Meltwater New Ventures, the corporate venture and development arm of Meltwater Group, a global provider of software solutions. Charles was previously involved in the formation of four venture firms including General Partner at Aventech Capital Partners, founder and General Partner of TianDi Growth Capital in Shanghai, founder and Managing Director of Panasonic Venture Capital and senior member at Vertex Venture Holdings, a Singapore based venture capital firm with $1.0B under management. Charles has marketing and engineering experience with firms such as Raytheon E-Systems and Bell Laboratories as well as technology mergers & acquisition experience at CS First Boston. Charles holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business School and B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also teaches at the Haas Graduate School of Management and is an advisor to the President of Panasonic.
